Taize Pilgrimage Update – We need more beds.

A huge thank you to all the parishioners who have opened up their homes for the pilgrims attending the Taizé Pilgrimage of Trust from 25-29 September.

So far, we have found beds for 38 pilgrims. Our target is to get 100 beds. In addition to giving them a warm welcome and a place to sleep, host families are also requested to provide breakfast for the pilgrims and ensure that they can be dropped off at the parish at 8.30am for morning prayer.

They will then be involved in numerous activities during the day, will have their lunch and dinner at the main Taizé centre. Host families would need to collect them again at about 8.30pm each evening. On Sunday, host families are also asked to provide lunch for their pilgrims.
