Mother Theresa The Co-workers of Mother Teresa was formed in 1988. They humbly carry out the generous work of Mother Theresa and work closely with the nuns in Khayelitsha, the poor in Vrygrond, and many lesser known charities. Jesus instructed us to "feed the hungry and clothe the naked": the co-workers therefore establish soup kitchens, distribute bread on a daily basis, knit and sew blankets, jerseys etc. on an ongoing basis. Donations are always welcome.

The Family Support Group provides Divorce Support, Parenting Skills and Alzheimer’s Care giver Support. This is achieved by arranging ongoing talks, workshops, skills training and retreats. Parishioners are also welcome to contact our Catholic Counselling Network counsellors for non judgemental and confidential assistance in time of need or just to gain a different perspective in dealing with challenges. The Legion of Mary is a universal group in the Church. Their concerns are strictly the spiritual welfare of parishioners and members and they work in conjunction with the Parish Priest in guiding people as Jesus did. The Marian Movement started in 1972 while Fr Stefano Gobbi was on pilgrimage to Fatima. Our Lady planted a seed which has very quickly become a great tree which has spread its branches into every part of the world. It is a work of love which the Immaculate Heart of Mary is stirring up in the Church, to help us to live, with trust and hope. In these times of grave danger, the Mother of God and of the Church is taking action, to assist the priests, who are the sons of her maternal predilection. More info - www.msm-mmp.org

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international Catholic Organisation of lay people founded in Paris in 1833 by Blessed Frederic Ozanam. He was a student who was taunted by other students at the University of Paris to do something about the poverty at that time. Together with fellow students he took up this challenge and started a the very first society of St Vincent de Paul! Placed under the patronage of St Vincent de Paul, it is inspired by his thinking and his work. It seeks, in a spirit of justice and charity, to help those who are suffering - which it does by a dedicated involvment of its members. The society is open to all who wish to live their faith by loving their neighbour in the person of the needy. No work of charity is foreign to the society, it includes (direct person to person contact) any form of help that relieves suffering and promotes human dignity and integrity. It serves persons in need regardless of creed, opinion or origin.
